Exploring Coaching Models

Affective-Cognitive Consistency Model (ACCM): focuses on the relational and social implications of Heider’s Triad. This model explores the relationship between feelings and cognition in a social-relational context. 

For example, suppose the client has positive feelings for Joe but feels negatively about the newly proposed organizational changes. Now suppose Joe favors these changes. How does the resulting inconsistency impact the relationship between the client and Joe?
